Title: Interactions between group actions and graph symmetry

 

Short description: 

I will discuss the fundamental links between transitive groups actions and automorphism groups of graphs, including orbital graphs and digraphs, coset graphs, and Cayley graphs. Also I hope to cover some applications including distance transitive graphs (reducing to primitive actions and applying the O’Nan-Scott Theorem), and s-arc-transitive graphs (the theory of normal quotients and quasiprimitive groups).
